summerWith the colorful arrival of summer, Mont-Sainte-Anne has a wide range of activities for you to discover. Panoramic gondola rides take you to the summit of the mountain for breathtaking views of the St. Lawrence River and the surrounding nature. At the top, visit the canine village with its 65 dogs, take the scenic path to reach our Summit restaurant for light meals and refreshing drinks, while enjoying the most beautiful vistas on the region. Enjoy the interpretation panels and the view from our 360° look-out tower!

Golf Le Grand Vallon

Golf Le Grand VallonAt the base of the mountain, Le Grand Vallon golf course offers one of the best golf challenges in Eastern Canada. Created in 1976 by golf architect Howard Watson, this 6,583-yard, par 72 undulating course features a beautiful mix of challenging tree-sided fairways and a large plain at mid-course, dotted by 4 lakes and 40 silica white sand bunkers. Winner of the silver medal for the Best Improved Golf Course 1999 from Golf International Magazine, Le Grand Vallon is also renowned for its first class service, worthy of the best golf courses. Golf International magazine has most recently recognized the course has being the highest rated one in the province!

Mountain Biking

Mountain BikingHost of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup every year since 1991, Mont-Sainte-Anne is renowned as the Mecca of mountain biking. With over 100 km of cross-country trails and 27 km for downhill from the summit of the mountain, Mont-Sainte-Anne is the absolute eastern privileged destination of mountain bike enthusiasts, whether you are a beginner looking for a smooth ride or in search of new thrills. Rental service is available and gondolas are equipped with hooks for transporting mountain bikes up to the summit. For those who are willing to take up a unique challenge in the Québec province, Mont-Sainte-Anne has introduced in the last years INFERNO X-ZONES, an extreme park for mountain bikers partly designed by “Dangerous Dan Cowan”, ‘North Shore” pioneer and specialist. Two distinct zones of guaranteed adrenaline surely please its riders with a 4-cross course and its “North Shore” style course.

Hiking Trails

Hiking TrailsMany hiking trails with picnic tables criss-cross the whole area, with the choice of short rides either at the base or at the top of the mountain, or more challenging ones from the base to the summit. Mont-Sainte-Anne's trails range from 1 km to 12 km and all of them offer picnic areas and superb scenery, some of the St. Lawrence River and bordering farmlands, some of the Jean-Larose river and waterfalls, some of the Laurentian mountains.

Campground

CampgroundLocated a few kilometers east of the mountain, the Mont-Sainte-Anne Campground offers 166 sites, shaded or open, with services for tents and all types of vehicles. Nestled in an exceptional natural environment, it offers a bundle of activities for its visitors such as swimming lake with a beach, biking paths, hiking trails, stream fishing, bird watching trail, a small pet farm and a community centre with indoor games. A playground features swings, sandboxes, an activity centre with slides, a trampoline, a fitness trail and more.

Other Activities

Other ActivitiesAt the base of the mountain, you can also experience the unique feeling of descending on a rope in the refreshing waters of the Jean-Larose waterfall cascades, when enjoying canyoning with experienced guides. All throughout the year, Mont-Sainte-Anne is a paraglider's paradise. The paragliding school provides tandem flights with an instructor, and lessons for beginners to experienced paragliders.
